Milkcrate Cafe is always looking for collectible, hard to find, and rare records, as well as audio equipment.

If you have a collection or gear that you want to sell, contact us to arrange an appraisal! We have been buying and selling music for over 25 years, so you can rest assured you’ll be treated professionally and receive the most money for your collection.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

All genres are considered but we are most interested in rare vinyl in EXCELLENT condition. We will be more picky on records with scratches or water damage and common genres/artists (show tunes, easy listening, big band, Barbra Streisand, Dan Fogelberg). We pay top dollar for great collections. Bring it into the store or contact us to schedule a house call. We pay cash the same day. No collection is too big, too small, or too far away so please feel free to reach out and discuss.

OPTIONS

We can typically offer a higher value if you are looking for store credit instead of selling it outright. We now also offer consignment options for large collections. This is a longer-term agreement but a higher amount overall for your record collection. You will receive payment based on sales on a month-to-month basis. If you are interested in this option, please let us know!

GEAR

We also buy old-school high-quality analog audio gear. We love vintage record players, big funky knobs, glowing tubes, and beautiful wood speakers. We are selective on what brands we will take and we are only interested in gear that is still in GREAT or EXCELLENT working condition.
